Karen Potter became a licensed real estate agent in May 1980 while living in Weatherford, Texas. She sold real estate during that time specializing in the older Victorian homes in the historic area of town.She was a member of the Weatherford Board of REALTORS serving as a Director,Secretary, Chairman of American Home Week Committee and the Education Committee. She was also a leader in the 4-H Association.

In 1989 she moved to Abilene to be closer to family. She then joined the Abilene Board of REALTORS and worked for a couple of other real estate companies as a secretary and property management. In 2004 her husband's job moved them to the Fort Worth area. After being there for four years the opportunity came up for them to move back to Abilene so she and her husband jumped at the chance. "We didn't realize how much we would miss Abilene as it is such a great place to live".

In June, having come full circle, she came back to McClure REALTORS to assist with property management.She is responsible for checking all of our rental properties by performing walk-thru inspections, scheduling the make readies and repairs. SHe also lists and sells real estate. She is a memeber of the Texas Association of REALTORS and the National Association of REALTORS.

Karen is a member of Abilene Bible Church. She has been an antique dealer since 1995 and an antiques appraiser since 2000.
